Override Service Windows

Topics: Feature Requests

I would love to see this feature return for advertisements. We used this heavily for our 2007 clients and although most of our environment is now self service with the App Catalog, there are still times when we have to deploy something and would love the ability to override the service windows as needed. (Unless I have completely missed this feature somewhere?)
Thanks as always for your contribution in making our lives easier!

The current version should always set the override service windows flag. After rerun an adv., reload the advertisements and check the property "PRG_Requirements" on your advertisement. The Property value is an XML-File, that should contain a section "OverrideServiceWindow" which should be set to TRUE...
Note, that after a policy refresh, the original value will come back...

Hi Roger

If I try to change that OverrideServiceWindows from FALSE to TRUE, the Client Center stops working and gives the next error message:

What might be causing that?
